“Two Days” is a romantic comedy based on the realities of modern Russia. A Moscow official, Petr Drozdov, has been sent to inspect a museum of 19th century Russian writers. There he meets Masha, the intelligent and beautiful director of the museum. They develop feelings for each other despite coming from two different worlds and despite the fact that Drozdov’s mission is to deem the museum useless to support the interest of the region’s governor who wants to claim the historical estate. This film depicts the classic Russian conflict between power and the intelligentsia.
