The speaker, Dr. Ignacio Sánchez Prado, is a professor of Spanish at Washington University in Saint Louis. He is the author of five books, thirteen edited volumes, 34 academic articles, and 51 book chapters. He is a co-editor of the series Latin American Cinema with SUNY Press.
His talk is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. It will be followed by a
screening of the film Even the Rain.
